The final measure of success for ThinkLink assessments occurs when districts, schools, classes, and students improve their performance on end-of-year state assessments for AYP under NCLB. And they do.

During 2003-2004, there were 399 Tennessee schools, representing over 100,000 students in grades 3 to 8 who used ThinkLink's Predictive Assessment Series. Of the 205 schools that met AYP in 2002-2003, ThinkLink helped 200 or 98% maintain AYP in 2003-2004. Of the 194 schools that did not meet AYP in 2002-2003, ThinkLink helped 137 of 194 schools or 71% improve and meet AYP benchmarks in 2003-2004. Taken together, ThinkLink helped 84% of its Tennessee schools maintain or improve their NCLB status, a remarkable fact given that most of the schools that used ThinkLink were Title 1.
